Millwall Community Trust (MCT) has announced the launch of the Player Pathway Centre that is opening for young footballers aged 6 to 16.
MCT runs in excess of 100 football and multisport courses across 13 weeks of the year in the London Boroughs of Lewisham and Southwark and across Kent.
Saturday Soccer is a great introduction to football, helping children aged 3-4 to interact with their peers from a very young age.
Millwall Community Trust offers a unique opportunity for passionate 16 – 18-year-olds football players, both male and female, to pursue a 2-year Football & Education Scholarship.
Millwall has been a pioneering club in the development of the women’s game. In the 1980s it became one of the first men’s clubs to link with a female affiliate, the Lionesses. The Women’s Team later formed the first female Centre of Excellence in England and contributed a number of players to the England national squad. Famous alumni include Hope Powell, the former England women’s coach. The Lionesses also won the women’s FA Cup in 1991 and 1997.
Millwall Community Trust runs a variety of sessions for schools, and work with a number of partner schools across Southwark, Lewisham, and Kent.

Millwall Community Trust provide free open access walking football sessions for 48 weeks. The Millwall Walking Football Club has run for over four years and has been successfully delivered in many different settings and locations such as TRA halls, community and leisure centres, estate ball courts, parks and Guys Hospital.
