Millwall Community Trust (MCT) Mental Health and Lions Living (Sustainability) Ambassadors Joe Bryan and Duncan Watmore visited our Holiday, Activity and Food (HAF) Camps at St Paul’s Sports Ground, Rotherhithe this afternoon.

Millwall Community Trust's free of charge HAF Camps runs during the school holidays and are a great opportunity for children to have fun, improve their skills and make new friends in a safe and structured environment.

The free HAF camps are for children who receive free school meals, and every child receives a free hot lunch every day.

Bryan and Watmore started their visit by taking part in a Q&A where the children were given the opportunity to ask questions, they’ve always wanted to know the answer to.

After this, the duo encouraged the children from the sidelines as the participants took part in small-sided matches.

Bryan and Watmore then finished the afternoon by taking photographs with the children and signing autographs.

Tim Sells, Millwall Community Trust's Football and Sports Development Manager said: “What an unbelievable afternoon for the children at St Paul’s Sports Ground today.

“What a great experience for the children to have Joe Bryan and Duncan Watmore visit them during the Holiday, Activity and Food Camps.

“Being able to provide opportunities such as these to local children is something we are all very proud of, especially for families within our community who may be suffering from financial hardship.

“Our aim is to make every day on these camps special for the children and having the first team players come down certainly does that!"
