Millwall Community Trust’s (MCT) Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Lead Jason Vincent alongside MCT’s Mental Health Ambassador Joe Bryan handed out children's books at Phoenix Primary School which reflect diversity aimed at promoting education and inclusivity.
The EFL believe it is essential that education is a key component to ensuring this vision and therefore providing education to the youngest in our society is vital. Continuing from last year, the EFL will be dedicating itself to the project to provide another 2,000 books to primary schools across England and Wales.
Millwall Community Trust EDI Lead Jason Vincent and Millwall Left-Bryan Joe Bryan gave the books out to the participants of our Anti-Discrimination and EDI Workshop.
Jason Vincent, Millwall Community Trust’s EDI Lead said: “As part of MCT’s and Millwall Football Club’s commitment to EDI, our vision is to be reflective and representative of the communities in which we serve.
“Education is an important component to ensuring this vision. It was a pleasure for us to visit Phoenix Primary School and to present teachers and pupils with diverse books aimed at promoting education and inclusivity.”
“Thank you to the EFL for providing these books to the clubs across England and Wales that will inspire teachers and pupils.”
