A quartet of Millwall FC First-Team players attended the Teens Holiday, Activity and Food (HAF) Camps at St Paul’s Sports Ground, Rotherhithe.
Joe Bryan, Luke Cundle, Macauley Langstaff and Casper De Norre all attended.
Millwall Community Trust's free of charge HAF Camps runs during the school holidays and are a great opportunity for children and young people to have fun, improve their skills and make new friends in a safe and structured environment.
The free HAF camps are for children and young people who receive free school meals, and every child/young person will receive a free hot lunch every day.
The quartet of players engaged with the children in a Q&A where children were able to ask the players questions before posing for their photograph with them.
Following on from this, the players ran a shooting drill for participants to take part in with some excellent skills on show.
Sean Daly, MCT’s CEO said: “What a great experience for the young people to have Joe Bryan, Luke Cundle, Macauley Langstaff and Casper De Norre visit them during the Holiday, Activity and Food Camps at St Paul’s Sports Ground, Rotherhithe today.
“Being able to provide opportunities such as these to local children is something we are all very proud of, especially for families within our community who may be suffering from financial hardship.
“Our aim is to make every day on these camps special for the young people, and having the first team players pop in and say hello certainly does that.
“It's just another benefit when booking onto a MCT programme.”
