The Joy of Moving programme is designed to inspire active lifestyles in children, aiming to teach children how to enjoy moving through play, and to help them develop positive habits for adulthood. Over 1,000 children took part in the fun activities across five schools which were organised and delivered by Millwall Community Trust coaches in association with the English Football League and Ferrero.

Events such as creating their own campaigns and taking part in sporting activities which included Rock, Paper, Scissors, Shoot and Spaceships took place during the day.

The day was free to attend and all participants enjoyed the activities.

Emily Poole, Millwall Community Trust’s Primary Schools Co-Ordinator said: “It was a superb two weeks of Joy of moving festivals and it was great to see everyone having so much fun.

“Each day went really well and we are already looking forward to next year’s events.”
