Millwall’s Pan Disability side started the new season as the Adult Team travelled to Fulham’s training ground, Motspur Park, for a friendly tournament.

It was a great way for our players to reinforce independence and confidence when travelling around London using public transport.

In the tournament Millwall played five matches against different Fulham teams.

The Lions won fours games (4-0;3-0;2-1 and 2-0) and lost one (1-0).

All players played brilliantly and we really noticed a fantastic improvement in their communication on the pitch between each other as well as improved passing through the lines and an improved and well coordinated high pressing from the entire team to create quick turnovers and maintain pressure on the opposite team.

We have been practising this tactic for a while during our sessions so it made us really proud.

The team played with great confidence, showing willing to win and mostly important a fantastic behaviour.

Again, all players played really well but three players deserve a special mention.

Reese for scoring amazing goals and making an impact on all matches, Rayan as he keeps improving in particular his ability to anticipate and Kedar for making great saves as a goalkeeper as well as some amazing passing and being a constant presence on the pitch.
