What is it?
Skills Bootcamp is an exciting 4 week bootcamp designed to equip learners with the skills, knowledge and experience they need to secure digital roles.
Learners will receive a mixture of hands-on training, 1:1 mentoring from experts, masterclasses from the likes of Google, BT and Lloyds Bank, and flexible online learning.
The Skills LaunchPad programme provides an in-depth insight into the worlds of digital marketing, UX and web design, coding and employability skills training. On top of this, learners will have the opportunity to work on a client-facing project to further develop their industry experience.
At the end of this free 4 week bootcamp, learners will receive a guaranteed interview and potential job offer, enabling them to put their new skills to the test in the real world!
This course is open to learners at all stages of their digital journey. We’ll equip you with the knowledge, experience and confidence to thrive in the digital world.
Where all individuals are able to grow and expand their digital skills from building a marketing plan to being confident in Javascript and building a website. This bootcamp aims to place individuals into interviews at the end of the four weeks with potential to put their new skills to the test in the real world!

Who is eligible?
In order to be eligible for this programme, you must:
* Be currently receiving Universal Credit
* Be able to commit to a 4 week training bootcamp
* Have a desire to develop your digital skills and seek employment in the digital sector

We are looking to start the first cohort on the 6th September 2021. The four weeks will be broken down into -
Week 1: Introduction to Digital Marketing
* Capturing tools and metrics
* Discovering marketing aspects around SEO, SEM and social media
* Analytical and data insights
* How to build a digital marketing plan
Week 2: Design and Build Websites
* Designing and building websites
* Capturing tools and metrics
* Introduction to SQL, HTML and Javascript
* Creating an engaging user interface
* Designing of ecommerce platforms
Week 3: Special Mission
* Learners have an opportunity to create an individual project concentrating on with digital marketing or web-design
* Design Thinking methodology
Week 4: Career Countdown
* Employability skills and career planning
* Identifying key soft skills
* required by employers
* Leading teams and project
* manage tasks
* Top tips for writing CV’s,
* interview techniques and cover
* Letter Skills
During this timeframe, UD will be in touch and recruiting local businesses so that those who have the chance to learn a range of employability skills and these individuals are actively being sought after by employers. The ultimate goals of the bootcamp will be to get you in front of potential employers to showcase the skills you’ve learnt with the intention of securing full time roles with these employers
We will be looking to utilise four cohorts, three of those will be virtual and one of those will be in person for attendance for those who do not have access to digital devices.
