Millwall Community Trust (MCT) CEO, Sean Daly, will be live on BBC Radio London tonight at 7:30 pm. He will discuss the work Millwall will be doing to support the community over the Christmas period. We will be delivering FREE activity and food camps, providing families with Christmas hampers, and much more.
Sean Daly said, "It's great to have this opportunity to speak about the great work done here. Millwall aims to help the community in whatever way we can, so to be able to bring awareness to the community through BBC Radio London is excellent. We hope that this makes more people aware of the services we provide and hopefully we can help more families in the community.
Read below to see some of the things we will be doing this winter break.
Christmas in a box
Millwall Community Trust is proud to announce its 'Christmas In A Box' initiative.
Christmas is a time of year where families come together to celebrate, to give and receive presents and to spend quality time with loved ones.
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit many low income families hard and Millwall Community Trust - in association with the Lions Food Hub - is stepping in to ensure the most vulnerable people in our communities are also able to enjoy the festive period.
Lions supporters are being given the opportunity to purchase a Christmas star and make a £5, £10 or £15 donation towards a box, which will contain a Christmas tree, tinsel, a family Christmas dinner and other festive-related items.
Please help us support those in need.
