The Lions Food Hub are seeking donations towards Christmas Hampers this year, feeding those less fortunate during the festive period.
Hub Ambassador, Karen Wilson, aims to collect as many cash donations or supermarket gift cards as possible so they can provide at lrast 66 hampers to local families this Christmas.
Hampers will consist of:
- Mini Christmas Tree (with lights)
- Mini Christmas crackers
- Turkey or chicken
- Potatoes
- Vegetables
- Mince Pies
- Gravy
- Stuffing
- Christmas Pudding
- Custard
- Biscuits
- Chocolates
Priced at £25 per hamper, the cut-off date for cash donations or supermarket gifts is Monday 11th December. This will allow all food to be bought fresh and the hampers to be prepared in time.
