Millwall Community Trust hosted a fantastic Pan Disability tournament at The Lions Centre last Sunday.
It was a great morning of football and players showed a great level of sportsmanship from all teams in the Friendship League that included Friendship League from Millwall, Sutton United and Southwark Stars.
The tournament is divided into two leagues: Championship and League One.
All teams displayed great skills and all matches were tight in the results showing a fair balance between all teams.
In the Championship, Millwall came joint first with Sutton United whilst in League One our Lions won it but most importantly all players from all teams had a wonderful time.
It has been great to see the improvement of our teams from the first time we joined the Friendship League in February 2023.
The positivity and bonding between players have helped develop their skills on the pitch, and we are extremely proud to see their progress when playing.
A well done to all teams but a special mention for Dante who since joining the team has been a fantastic addition, George and Rayan for an exceptional performance and finally for Harlee who has provided great assists and has been incredibly consistent in training sessions and in matches.
