Millwall Romans have been crowned London Unity League Cup Champions for the 2023/24 campaign.

The Romans beat Charlton Addicks 5-1 in the final at St Paul’s Sports Ground, Rotherhithe.

Millwall Romans beat East End Phoenix 5-0 in the First Round before dispatching Stonewall Unity 3-2 in the Quarter Finals.

The Romans followed that up with a 6-1 victory against Charlton Valiants in the Semi-Finals on route to the final.

The London Unity League is an amateur football league based in the capital, designed to allow LGBTQI+ friendly clubs to come together and play football.

Millwall Romans Manager, Paul Loding said: “Winning the cup final is an amazing feeling. It's the result of all the hard work, dedication, and teamwork we've put in all season. 

“This team has shown incredible spirit and unity. Credit to Romans Manager Rob Barr and thanks to the London unity League on hosting a great cup competition.”
