Millwall Community Trust’s (MCT) Primary Stars and Schools Co-Ordinator Emily Poole recently hosted a Mid-day Meal Supervisors CPD workshop across two days with sixteen teachers in attendance.
Throughout the day the teachers took part in various activities whilst learning and taking part to be able to actively deliver this material at lunchtime.
The CPD session took part at St Francis’ Primary School in Southwark.
MCT’s Primary Stars and Schools Co-Ordinator Emily Poole said: “It was excellent to be able to see the teachers open up throughout the day whilst showing superb levels of effort and that will now be really helpful going forward as they start to deliver these activities.”
A teacher at St Francis’ Primary School said: “I learnt a lot about how to implement games and will put them into practice. I like the games and learnt some new ones which involves teamwork and problem solving.”
