Millwall’s PFA Community Champion for the 2023/24 campaign Shaun Hutchinson has re-signed for The Lions.

The 33-year-old becomes signing number four of the summer transfer window for Neil Harris, joining on a one-year deal as a Free Agent.

Hutchinson arrives back in SE16 having made 257 appearances in a Lions shirt, scoring 14 times, now forming part of the club's defensive set-up for the 2024/25 season.

Originally arriving on a free transfer from Fulham in the summer of 2016, Hutchinson scored his first Lions goal at Shrewsbury Town in April 2017, before a decisive goal at the Memorial Stadium against Bristol Rovers later that month entered his name into Millwall history.

One half of a formidable centre-back partnership with Jake Cooper in the Sky Bet Championship, Hutchinson racked up start after start for The Lions, surpassing 250 appearances last season and scoring a last-minute winner at Bristol City on New Year's Day 2024 in the process.

Hutchinson, who takes the club captaincy role once again for 2024/25, will join up with his team-mates at Calmont Road later this week before jetting off to the pre-season training camp in Spain this weekend.
