Millwall Lionesses drew 3-3 against Ebbsfleet United on Sunday afternoon at The Kuflink Stadium.
Ted Jones’ side showed incredible character to come from three goals down to gain a valuable point on the road.
Millwall started the better of the two sides but couldn’t make that count as the hosts took the lead in the 12th minute with a close range finish.
The Fleet doubled their lead in the seventeenth minute as a strike from distance found the top corner.
It was three ten minutes before half time as a header was powered home from a corner.
But that was to spark an incredible fight back. Elise Jennings cut in from the right hand side before unleashing a gorgeous curling effort into the top corner.
Just a minute before half time it was 3-2 as Ciara Watling’s cross found the back of the net.
After the restart, it was more of the same, Millwall continued to press for that leveller but had to be patient, making the breakthrough with five minutes remaining.
Maisie Joyce played a cutting pass through to Clementine Young who fired home to complete what was a superb comeback.
Ted Jones’ side take on Sutton United next weekend at St Paul’s Sports Ground, Rotherhithe.
