Could you please introduce yourself and a little bit about your history?
I am the Cabinet Member for Better Homes, Neighbourhoods and Homelessness at Lewisham Council, I also represent Evelyn ward on the council, which is just next to the Den. I have lived in Deptford for 13 years and have been a Millwall fan since I first moved here.I have worked throughout north Lewisham in the community, doing everything from benefits advice to helping set up food projects and community gardens. I have a passion for grassroots football and the way it can change people’s lives.
How long have you been a trustee with Millwall Community Trust?
I only became a trustee this summer and I am really excited to get stuck in.
Why did you become a trustee at Millwall Community Trust?
I have worked with the community trust on several projects in the past and seen the difference it has made in the community, no I want to give back and play my part in shaping the future of the trust.
