Millwall's Adult Pan Team wrapped up another fantastic year by hosting the Friendship League at our Lions Centre and visiting Charlton FC Pan Team at their ground in Eltham at the Foots Cray Rugby Club.

At the Friendship League, we had the pleasure of hosting our friends from Southwark Stars and Sutton United, as well as meeting players and coaches from the Surrey Hawks. As usual, the tournament was divided into two leagues: Championship and League 1. All teams performed admirably, playing their best and enjoying a great morning of football. True sportsmanship was displayed by everyone involved.

Millwall's Pan League 1 Team had a strong showing, winning two games and losing two. Special recognition goes to James, Trevanie and Harlee for their outstanding goals and solid performances.

Millwall's Championship Team faced a more challenging tournament, losing three matches and drawing one. Afterwards, we took the opportunity to reflect together on what went wrong and how we can improve for the next tournament. These moments of defeat are invaluable for motivating growth, testing team spirit, and refining our abilities.

After the tournament, players from all teams had the fantastic opportunity to watch the Lionesses take on Tottenham at The Den, which was an inspiring experience for everyone.

A couple of weeks later, we had the chance to play against Charlton FC, and the team bounced back winning one game, drawing two, and losing one. All players contributed greatly, supporting one another with improved communication on the pitch, respecting positions, and applying tactical approaches learned in previous sessions. Special mentions go to Steve for his excellent performance in goal, Albie for a solid defensive display, and Rayan for his relentless pressing, rapid counterattacks, and overall impact on the game. A big thank you to Charlton players and staff for a wonderful afternoon.

It's been another remarkable season for the Millwall Pan Teams. The players have made great improvements in their football skills, attendance, and commitment during training. However, we are especially proud of their development in social skills, as they have built strong friendships among all the players. It's been a pleasure coaching them and seeing their confidence growing when traveling and attending tournaments across different parts of London, boosting their independence. We’re excited for the new year and look forward to continuing to support their growth and independence.
