Millwall continued the pressure and on the stroke of half-time, they doubled their lead. Shannan Drewe made her return to action and celebrated that with a a superb effort that found the back of the net from twenty-five yards out.
The hosts pulled one back twelve minutes after the restart, winning it high and scoring from just inside the area.
That didn’t dampen Millwall’s spirits and just before the 70th minute, The Lionesses restored their two goal lead.
Lucy Jellett found Shannan Drewe who this time turned provider for Ciara Watling to score her tenth of the season.
Millwall saw the game out comfortably to pick up another three points.
