Millwall Lionesses exited the League Cup at the semi-final stage after a 5-0 defeat against Fulham at St Paul’s Sports Ground.
Ted Jones’ side now turn their attentions to the league as they host Fulham once again next Sunday at St Paul’s Sports Ground (1:30pm kick-off).
The visitors took the lead in the second minute before doubling their advantage eight minutes later with a good strike.
It was three for Fulham in the 20th minute, a ball to the far post was finished well and the visitors added a fourth on the stroke of half-time.
Millwall continued to show character in the second half, making some vital challenges to prevent further goals.
Elise Jennings and Liv McGregor battled hard up top and nearly got a goal back but the visitors defended their box well.
The Lilywhites added a fifth in second half stoppage time as a tap in at the far post was converted.
