George Saville and Sharna Giordani have been crowned Millwall PFA community champions of the year for the 2024/25 season.

The award recognises the positive impact players have in the community, and the depth of support they provide.

Saville has supported all MCT’s programmes this year and has made such an impact when visiting local schools and other MCT’s projects

Giordani has visited MCT’s Girls Player Performance Pathway as well as making a special visit to Demelza at Christmas - whilst supporting in the local community throughout the campaign.

Sean Daly, CEO of Millwall Community Trust, said: “The award is for recognition of the support that players give the club and community trust with our work in the local community. George has been brilliant throughout making such an impact when visiting our projects.

“Sharna has been superb throughout the year as well helping to inspire the next generation of female footballers.

“Player visits are so important as they leave a lasting impact on people’s lives.

“I would like to thank George and Sharna and all the players and staff for their continued support of the Community Trust.”
