“We saved our best performance for the biggest stage, and it was an honour and a privilege to play at The Den, representing Millwall Trust and LGBT football. This was more than a win — it was a statement, delivered by a fantastic team when it mattered most.”

Andy Dolan, Millwall Pride Manager added: “It is a very proud day for everyone who's been involved behind the scenes over the years. The performance of the two teams is a reflection of the platform provided by Millwall Community Trust, which has helped us to build a strong group of dedicated players."

Millwall Pride player, John Goodyear concluded: “Millwall Pride saved their best performance for the biggest stage - roared on at the den against a strong Charlton team, we showed fantastic desire and skill to come from behind and dominate the game. With the support of the club and particularly the community trust, we've not only been able to add a second team, but turn it into a one that competes for silverware!”
