“I’ve got plenty of talents. I met Ade (Millwall Youth Employment Coach) in Peckham Job Centre Plus (JCP) and he referred me to Millwall and the Employability HUB.
“I’m using the energy he gave me everyday and I’m thankful to him, JCP and Millwall Community Trust.
Ade Jiboye, Millwall Youth Employment Coach said: “When Maslah came to see me, he was feeling down thinking he would never get a job.
"I had a long conversation with him whilst I built his confidence. He is a really nice person and deserved a good job.
“Initially, he thought I was just being nice but the next time I saw him for his appointment, I immediately referred him to the Job fair at Millwall Community Trust HUB where he was successfully offered employment as a Security Officer at Millwall but was not entirely happy as he wanted full time employment.
“I advised him to take the security job, and I would keep looking for more opportunities for him.
“Eventually, there was another job opportunity as a groundsman at Millwall Football Club. I referred him again and he was successful at the interview. I am very happy for him as I thought he showed resilience, and he deserves this job.”
