Millwall Community Trust would like to thank Lions PFA Community Champion of the Year George Saville for his service to the local community following his release from Millwall Football Club.

Saville leaves the club having made almost 250 appearances across four separate spells, scoring 18 goals and consistently displaying unwavering commitment and dedication whenever he pulled on the Millwall shirt.

Saville was awarded Millwall’s PFA Community Champion for the 2024/25 campaign.

The award recognises the positive impact players have in the community, and the depth of support they provide.

Saville has visited our School Programmes this year where he took time to help the students.

Sean Daly, CEO of Millwall Community Trust, said: “I want to say a huge thank you to George Saville for all his work over the years in our local community.

“We are so grateful for everything he has done for Millwall Community Trust.

“Player visits are so important in inspiring the next generation as they leave a lasting impact on people’s lives.

“I would like to thank George and all the players and staff for their continued support of the Community Trust.

“We would like to wish George and his family all the best for the future.”
