Millwall Community Trust and Millwall Football Club partnered with Partnership Southwark and Crisis Rescue Foundation once again to bring you the the Vaxi Taxi/ Health and Wellbeing Pop Up at The Den prior to Saturday’s match against Wrexham.

The Vaxi Taxi/ Health and Wellbeing Pop Up opened at 12:30pm - two-and-a-half hours before kick-off - and gave staff members and supporters from both teams the chance to pop in and get some vital health checks.

Crisis Rescue Foundation’s team of health and wellbeing experts offered crucial information and had signposts up to more advice and care, including reducing the risk and spotting signs of heart disease, stroke, cancers (bowel and prostate).

They promoted:

  • General men’s health and wellbeing

The team offered free blood pressure checks, height, and weight measurements along with free, healthy snacks and toiletry goodie bags.

Sean Daly, Millwall Community Trust’s CEO said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the team to The Den once again on Saturday afternoon.

“It was a superb afternoon where both sets of supporters and staff members were offered the opportunity to get a free health check.

“Thank you to Crisis Rescue Foundation and Southwark Partnership for attending and we look forward to working together again in the future.”
