Millwall Lionesses Manager Ted Jones was delighted to get their first win of the 2025/26 season.
The Lionesses defeated Newhaven 3-0 in what was a very dominant performance.
Millwall have only lost one of the first four, drawing two.
Ted Jones said: “We're delighted to get our first win of the season on Sunday.
“It's been frustrating as we feel we could have gained a couple of extra points from other games but we're happy to be in a better position than we were at this point last season.”
Next up is an away trip against Dorking Wanderers at Meadowbank this Sunday (3:30pm kick-off).
Ted Jones added: “I'm sure the girls would have gained lots of confidence from Sunday and look to back it up with another positive performance at Dorking Wanderers.”
