The new season has started with great performances and results for #Millwall’s Pan Disability teams.

The Adult Championships Team took part in the Regents Park League, playing matches against Camden Town FC, LISA Legends, and Evermore Team.

The side always enjoy this Sunday tournament — not only because of the beautiful setting in Regents Park but also because it’s a great opportunity for our players to practice travel training around London, helping them become more independent.

We are proud to say that a few of our players can now travel to the venue on their own using public transport.

Back to football — the team started slowly, losing the first match 2–1. But in the following games, they grew in confidence and improved their passing and positioning on the pitch, leading to two wins: 2–0 and 2–1.

All the players did brilliantly. Special mentions go to Ted, who played his first match; Albie, who never gave up, earned a penalty, and scored a goal through great pressing on the goalkeeper; and Reece P for showing strong leadership on the pitch. That’s OUR spirit!

Last week, the Under-18 Team travelled to the Arsenal Community Hub for a rematch. It’s always a fantastic experience for the players to visit the Emirates, and for some of them, it’s another chance to practice travelling independently with the support of Millwall coaches.

It was a great match — all players showed real determination and a strong desire to win. The team displayed some excellent passing during build-ups and goal opportunities.

The final score was 7–4 to our young Lions!

Special mentions to Ayaan for some outstanding saves, Joseph for his consistent work in midfield keeping good balance between defence and attack, Micael for a solid defensive performance, Isaac for his versatility across different positions, and Theo, who scored a goal in his first match with the team.

We are so proud of all our players and are looking forward to the next matches as we continue to grow and improve together as a team.
