Millwall Community Trust hosted Crawley Town for a series of Player Performance Pathway fixtures today at St Paul’s Sports Ground, Rotherhithe.
The day that started at 9am and finished at 6pm - hosted fixtures for U8’s all the way through to U16’s.
Every game was played in a really competitive manner with all participants showing great levels of sportsmanship on both sides whilst playing with a great level of talent and skill.
Millwall FC’s Academy Head of Recruitment Adeyinka Adeniran attended throughout the day and watched on with Football & Sports Development Officer Nick Farrell.

One participant who attends MCT’s Player Performance Pathway was offered a Millwall FC Academy trial.
This continues to show the great relationship and partnership Millwall Community Trust and Millwall FC Academy have in the local community, working together to identify players.
Nick Farrell, MCT’s Football & Sports Development Officer said: “What a fantastic day at St Paul’s Sports Ground.
“It was fantastic to welcome Crawley Town to play in a range of great fixtures which I know all participants thoroughly enjoyed.

Adeyinka Adeniran, Millwall FC’s Head of Academy Recruitment added: “Nick kindly invited me down to St Paul’s today to watch the games against Crawley.
“There’s a really promising U11 which is the reason I came down, he could be the next superstar at The Den!
“The partnership with Millwall Community Trust continues to grow with new initiatives and new projects. Even events like this, being visible, being seen and showing people that there is a clear and constant link, it’s really good.”
