Millwall supporters have raised £21,746.31 for the Royal British Legion.

Gathered from bucket collections, sales of poppies and more before The Lions' Sky Bet Championship fixture against Preston North End on Saturday 8th November, the MatchWornShirt auction is also included in the total, with tops raising £3,815.

This is the fifth consecutive year Lions fans have raised over £20,000 for RBL. Donations allow for expert advice and guidance to be provided, as well as recovery and rehabilitation initiatives to help Armed Forces personnel transition back to civilian life.

The club would like to thank all Millwall and Preston North End supporters for their immense generosity - and a special thank you also goes to Mel Bingham, who expertly oversees the fundraising each and every year.

Furthermore, thanks go to Alex Bellenie, Casey Bellenie, Will Atmore, Stuart Hollands, John Wallace, Tony Smith, Kirsty Evans, Caleb Morley, Dennis Auguste, James Dickson, Stanley Dickson (aged 5!), Michael Norris, Tiffany Norris, Tilly Norris, Callum Broadbent, Callum Cheeseman, Phil Clarke and Jack Clarke for their help, and also Micky Simpson for his help with organising the attendance of Armed Forces personnel.

The club and trust would like to thank Jill Merrett and the North Bermondsey Branch of the RBL for hosting a coffee morning and taking part in pre-match activations.
