Millwall Community Trust (MCT) are running Holiday, Activity and Food Camps (HAF) across Lewisham and Southwark over the Christmas break.
Millwall Community Trust’s HAF programme runs during the school holidays and are a great opportunity for children to have fun, improve their skills and make new friends in a safe and structured environment.
The HAF camps are for children who receive free school meals, and every child will receive a free hot lunch every day.
MCT will be running HAF camps at two different locations - St Paul’s Sports Ground, Rotherhithe, and The Lions Centre.
Both St Paul’s and Lions Centre camps will run on December 22nd-23rd between 10am-2pm as well on December 29th-30th with the same timings.
Nick Farrell, Millwall Community Trust’s Football and Sports Development Officer said: “We are delighted to have once again received funding from both Lewisham and Southwark Councils for the upcoming Christmas holiday camps (HAF).
“It’s so important that we continue to support our local communities who may struggle to provide for their children over the Christmas period.
“Being funded to run these sessions ensures that our local children do not miss out and are guaranteed a hot meal every day whilst taking part in fun, physical activities.
“We can’t wait to see all the participants there and are looking forward to a great Christmas of fun for the children and young people of our local communities.”
