Millwall Football Club is pleased to announce that The Lions' Sky Bet Championship fixture against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday 14th March will host the club's annual Community Day.

Community Day will enable Millwall Community Trust to showcase the range of programmes that the club offers to the local community.

In the build-up to the game, the Trust will use the Lions Centre and The Den's main car park to showcase part of the work they do, whilst in the Lions Centre, Millwall Community Trust activities will be taking place, such as football sessions and The Cubhouse. Partner stalls - such as the Vaxi Taxi - will also be situated around the Trust's building.

Participants of Millwall Community Trust programmes will work alongside volunteers from other projects to drive a stadium-wide bucket collection to raise funds for the charity.

The SE16 Bus Stop Band Stand will see a DJ playing before the game whilst Millwall Community Trust swim bags, wristbands and more will be given out around the stadium.

The community action will continue onto the pitch, with awards presented at half-time to community champions.

A Guard of Honour will welcome the two teams out of the tunnel before kick-off, with further action taking place at half-time as numerous MCT teams will walk around the pitch.

Sean Daly, Millwall Community Trust CEO said: “It has been another incredible year for MCT as we continue to work with around 14,500 people and providing 9,500 free meals and sports places for participants on free school schemes.

"Previous versions of 'Community Day' have showcased the outstanding work the club does in the community, with this day also a way to say thanks to all who support the Trust; from players, club staff to fans, partners and the local community.

"We are eternally proud of the work that Millwall does in the local community in creating opportunities for local residents. In the lead-up to Community Day, MCT has published its Annual Report, which shows the impact and vary of projects and programmes we are delivering in the local area.

"As always, MCT is a self-financing charity, meaning events such as Community Day are so important in allowing us to continue our work in the local area - so please come and join in the celebrations.

“Finally, I would like to say a huge thank you to Wiggett Group for supporting Community Day 2026."
