Last week MCT hosted a a six-a-side EFL Kids Cup tournament, with teams coming from a range of primary schools across Lewisham and Southwark. Over 80 children took part in the tournament which took place at the Lion's Centre on MCT's indoor astro-turf facility. The tournament was won by Peter Hills School from Rotherhithe. Sean Daly, Football Development Manager, said: "It is brilliant to be able to continue to work alongside schools in our local community, and offer them and the pupils that attend a range of curricular and extra curricular support. "This tournament is a great opportunity to engage young people, and help them learn the physical and social benefits of playing football."   Have a look below for some photographs of the tournament!
