Millwall Community Trust Receive Outstanding Contribution Award Millwall Community Trust received a prestigious award at Southwark Council’s “Sporting Champions 2018” celebration this week. The event was organised by Southwark Council to celebrate the achievements  of young people and sports clubs in the borough. MCT received the award for excellence within and contribution to community sport and physical activity. The award celebrates the work of the trust, which  provides opportunities for residents of the borough to participate in sport at every level. Steve Bradshaw commented “ It is a honour to be receive this award and to be recognised by the council as a significant provider of sporting and physical activity opportunities in the borough. We look forward to strengthening and deepening our partnership with the London Borough of Southwark, developing programmes that support the council’s sport and physical activity strategy”
