Millwall FC and Millwall Community Trust are delighted to announce a partnership with Planet Super League.

Planet Super League is the competition where fans get to win a trophy for their club - by taking real action on climate change.

Fans can score goals for Millwall by completing a range of activities that are good for the planet.

Millwall join 64 other clubs across the professional leagues in England in the campaign, which has seen more than 100,000 climate actions completed already. The next Planet Super League tournament, where fans can help Millwall to the top, will kick off in September. It’s a five-week new-format tournament with green activities for home, work, school and football around energy, travel, food, waste, and nature. More details will follow.

Sean Daly, CEO of Millwall Community Trust, said: “We’re really excited to join the other teams in the Planet Super League challenge, helping our fans live more sustainably in a way that’s fun, relevant and impactful”.

Rich Holmes, Head of Operations at Planet Super League added: “We’re delighted that Millwall have joined more than 60 other football clubs across the country in partnering with us to do their bit to tackle climate change in a fun and impactful way. We can’t wait to see how the Millwall fans and community engage and make an impact in our next competition”.

Omar Durrani, MCT Sustainability Officer, added: “It’s great to see Millwall taking this step towards tackling climate change with Planet Super League. Since starting here, I have been working with the team at Millwall to see what can be implemented internally to create a more sustainable environment, but to also establish something as fun as this, that gives fans a chance to get involved is such a great and positive move for the club, Trust, and the environment.”
