Millwall Community Trust hosted ‘An Evening With’ three Lions legends in aid of crucial funds for Lions Food Hub.
Former players, Byron Webster, Tony Craig and Peter Sweeney took the hot seat as they told untold stories from their time in SE16.
Following this, a Q&A took place and the fans had their chance to ask questions they’ve always wanted to find out the answer too.
There was an auction and a raffle which had some great items available, which included a signed Bartosz Bialkowski shirt from last season’s Community Day as well as a signed Byron Webster shirt from the 2018/19 season.
All profits from the evening went towards supporting the Lions Food Hub – Millwall’s dedicated foodbank, helping the most vulnerable in the local community.
A superb £1,131 was raised on the night and we would like to thank everyone who attended the event.
Sean Daly, Millwall Community Trust CEO said: “What a superb evening in Arry’s Bar raising vital funds for Lions Food Hub.
“These sorts of events are really important to raise funds to support the food bank especially during this cost of living crisis.”
“Thank you to Byron Webster, Tony Craig and Peter Sweeney for attending and telling some great stories throughout the evening.
“Lastly, we really appreciate everyone who came and we hope you enjoyed the evening.”
