Millwall Community Trust are delighted to win the ‘Best Community Contribution’ award at the Mayor of Lewisham Business Awards 2023.
The Mayor of Lewisham Business Awards brings together the best of Lewisham’s businesses from visitor attractions to independent shops and cafes.
The awards are a yearly opportunity to celebrate Lewisham’s businesses and the outstanding contribution they make to the borough.
This year Lewisham Council received over 2,000 nominations for the awards for Lewisham residents' favourite local businesses.
There were 14 categories with a total of 86 Lewisham businesses who were up to win in the final round.
The award shows how much of a contribution Millwall Community Trust make across Lewisham and our wider community.
Millwall Community Trust CEO Sean Daly, said: “This is a truly incredible moment for Millwall Community Trust to win the award for ‘Best Community Contribution’ and it shows that we are really making a difference in Lewisham.
“We are extremely honoured to win this award and we will continue to work hard across our local communities.
“Over 35 years The trust has worked in Lewisham, supporting the local Community, creating opportunities for the residents, and supporting the council and community groups in addressing local issues.
