Professional Footballers Association’s Head of Community Dave Palmer visited our player visit at our St Paul’s Sports Ground, Rotherhithe football holiday camp as well as our Lions Centre holiday camp.
Millwall Community Trust (MCT) Player Ambassadors Aidomo Emakhu and Brooke Norton-Cuffy were in attendance at St Paul's and watched the children take part in small sided football activists before taking part in a general Q&A with all participants.
After this, all children were given the opportunity to ask the duo questions they’ve always wanted to know the answer to.
Dave also visited our Lions Centre holiday camp where we are delivering our free Holiday, Activity and Food camps where each attendee receives a free meal every day.
Dave Palmer, Head of Community at the Professional Footballers Association said: “It was a fantastic visit by two of the clubs leading young players Brooke and Aidomo who provided an engaging insight to the children in attendance of life as a professional footballer.
“The PFA see this as an important element of a player’s career and value the great support that is provided by both the Millwall Community Trust and the Football Club to ensure that our members can positively influence and inspire the next generation.”
Sean Daly, Millwall Community Trust’s CEO said: “It was great to welcome Dave Palmer down to our holiday camps and it’s great to have the support of the PFA.
“Dave has always been a great supporter of the trust and we thank him for taking time out of his day to come and visit both our St Paul’s and Lions Centre holiday camps.”
